As a graphic designer by trade, Lainymade was born out of my love of digital creation and also the art of making. Each piece is designed on computer, lasercut, naturally oil, hand painted & hand assembled.
Quaint & lighthearted in style, Lainymade wishes to honour the casual and fleeting moments of recognition between friends, family and lovers. It is intended to be gifted and the pieces are conciously affordable to inspire this exchange.

I am lucky enough to both make and sell my work in beautiful Queenstown, New Zealand where I am a permanent stall holder at Queenstown Craft Market, a vibrant and wonderful community of craft makers who set up and sell on the wharf overlooking Lake Wakatipu. I occasionally sell at other markets or events, but this is where you're most likely to find me every Saturday 9am - 4pm.

(nickname) 'Lainy' is my nickname, coined by my mother, circa 1989. It originally derived from my initial verbal attempts to refer to myself and pronounce my birth name ‘Lorraine’.
